  • In math, we did double digit subtracting and addition. 
  • In gym, we played skipping games and helicopter
  • To honor Black History Month, we learned about Viola Desmond. Ask me why she is a famous person?

  • Thursday - wear a pattern & family math night
  • Friday -  multiple day
  • bring in a shoebox and materials for sound proofing

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
