Highlights:
  • Ms. Wolsey's class did a math game. We all got different numbers and we had to put ourselves in order from 0-22 without talking. We also played a game called "Guess that number." Ask me how we play the game. 
  • In music, Ms Maguire's class played different instruments for Chinese New Year. Ask me what instrument I played! 
  • We drew seals and lobsters to represent Iqaluit and Nova Scotia 
  • In writing we wrote about Ukrainian dancing and clothing. Ask me what my favorite part of the Ukrainian dance was!
  • In math we practiced number strings.

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
