Highlights:
  • In writing, we wrote about Ukrainian food and dance. Did you know they have a special dance is called the Hopak? It is one of the hardest dances in the world!
  • In science, we started learning about different types of energy 
  • In math we did different ways to make tens and twenty
  • In music, Ms. Maguire's class played poison rhythm and beaver tails. 
Reminders:
  • Wednesday is Winter Walk Day so dress for the weather for our community walk.

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10.
