Highlights:

  • We did a fun math game called Race to 100. We had trade 10 ones for a base ten block.
  • In art, we learned about a famous artist named Romero Britto. He's from Brazil and now lives in Miami Florida. His art is very popular. We made heart art that is inspired by him

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10.
