 Highlights:

  • In gym we played basketball. We learned how to pass.
  • We learned how to use capital letters and periods in sentences. 
  • In writing we wrote about the Robert Munsch book called "Stephanie's ponytail." 
  • In math we practiced two-digit addition equations. Ask me how to solve 22 + 42 =

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10.
