 Highlights:

  • In social studies we drew the landforms for Alberta and Nunavut 
  • In music we learned a new song and a new drumming sound 
  • In gym we did mission impossible 
  • In math we did a math talk where we had to guess which number was the mystery number 
  • In writing we wrote about the story Annie and the Wild Animals 
  • We did literacy centres. Ask me what centre I did today!

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
