Highlights:
  • In writing we continued to write the middle of Stephanie's Ponytail story. Lots of us set a new record for how many sentences we wrote today!
  • In gym, we  played dribbling and shooting games with the basketball.
  • When we were in Maker Space, we built the nest for Roz.
  • In science, we did a 4 square planner to draw the 4 types of sound. Ask me what they are!
  •  In literacy centres, we had a Boggle game.

Reminders:

  • Dress for the weather since we are going outside for Field Study Friday.

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
