Highlights:
  • In gym we did mission impossible. It was even more challenging! 
  • In writing we read another Jan Brett book called "Berlioz the Bear." Then, we had to put the story in the correct sequence. 
  • We checked and graphed the temperatures of Alberta, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Nunavut. 
  • In social studies we looked at different landforms in Alberta and then we drew them. 
  • Literacy Centres. Ask me what centre I did!
  • In Math we did expanded form, place value, base ten blocks, equations, and number sentences for the number 246.
  • In math we did a SPLAT math talk

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
