Highlights:
  • We played "Wordo" with heart words. Ask me how to play! 
  • In gym we learned how to shoot in basketball 
  • In writing we wrote about the beginning of the story "Stephanie's Ponytail." Ask me what I wrote! 
  • In math we learned another way to add two-digit numbers. Ask me how to solve 35 + 22 = 
  • In literacy centres we did a new centre called "Boggle." Ask me how to play!

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
