 Highlights:

  • Ms Maguire's class had music. Ask me what we did!
  • We wrote letters to someone in the school. Ask me who I wrote my letter to! 
  • Literacy Centres. We have a new letter making centre now! 
  • In science we learned about transparent objects and we did an experiment. Ask me what object is transparent! 
  • Heggerty 
  • We did place value in math and we learned how to write a number in expanded form. 
  • Miss Wolseys class did authors chair. We got to share our favorite writing with the class!
  • Our classroom kindness elf gave us a kindness challenge to do today! We had to find 3 people to give a compliment to. Ask me who I gave a compliment to! 

Reminders:

  • Spirit day tomorrow: Dress up like you are going on a vacation! 
  • No school on Friday!

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
