Highlights:
  • In art we read the story "The Wish Tree" and we started our wish tree art project 
  • Listening to the jolly postman story 
  • In gym we played musical 4 corners and rock paper scissors 
  • Our kindness elf left us a note that said "let someone line up in front of you" 
  • In math we learned how to represent numbers in different ways 
  • Getting to use the computers for the first time to fill out our student survey 
  • Heggerty 
  • Literacy Centres. Ask me what centre I did!

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10.
