Highlights:
  • In social studies we wrote about our favorite place in our community 
  • We continued our research about bats. We learned about their habitat today! We watched a video about bats that live under a bridge in Texas. Ask me how many bats live there!
  • Ms Maguire's class had a class meeting about where everyone feels safe
  • Literacy Centres. Ask me what centre I was in!
  • Ms Wolsey's class had music. Ask me what we did!
  • We practiced skip counting by 25's. Ask me how to count by 25's! 
  • We played garbage can in gym. Mr. Newton loved his birthday cards from our classes!

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
