 Highlights:

  • Mindfulness 
  • In gym we played soccer
  • In music Ms. Wolsey's class got to play lots of instruments 
  • Starting our brain pocket writing. We talked about memory writing. Ask me about one of my favourite memories! 
  • In math we made numbers with power of ten cards, base ten blocks and counters 
  • Practicing heart words 
  • Literacy Centres. Ask me what centre I was in!

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
