Highlights:

  • In social studies we are learning about different landscapes in Canada. Today we started an art project where we painted the landscape in Meteghan in Nova Scotia 
  • Literacy Centres. Ask me what centre I was in!
  • Ms. Wolsey's class had a class meeting. We shared about what we did on the weekend, and what our talents are. Ask me what talent I shared!  
  • Ms Maguire's class had music
  • Heggerty 
  • We read our bat novel 
  • We learned about bat predators. We did our planning today, and we will begin writing tomorrow
  • Practicing skip counting in Math

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
