Highlights:
  • In-line skating. We learned how to jump, edges, crossovers, and backwards skating
  • Music. We sang a spooky song!

  • We worked in partners to solve word ladders problems. Ask me what those are! 
  • STEM Challenge. Ask me what challenge I did!
  • Silent ball in gym 
  • Reading the book "Stellaluna" and did a guided drawing of a bat
  • Writing about our favorite part of the story. We are explaining the reason why it is our favorite part.

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10.
