Highlights:
  • we tried to build the tallest pile of snow and then we measured it
  • in gym we had Freedom Frenzy (gaga ball, hula hoops and skipping)
  • we wrote letters to our family on the back of our Northern Lights painting 
  • our classroom kindness elf challenged us to say hello to 3 people in the hallway

Tuesday January 30

Highlights: In social studies we drew a picture of the Nunavut flag. We also learned about the "Toonik Festival" that takes place in Iqaluit. We wrote different activities that they do at this festival to celebrate the Inuit culture. Ask me about one of the activities!  In math we learned about all the ways we can make 10. Ask me the answer to these questions: 6 + ____ = and 8 + ____ = Heggerty  In gym we played 4 corners and basketball Reminders: You can view your report cards online today!
