Maguire and Wolsey 2nd Grade Adventures

Highlights: hundred chart polar express math watching the Polar Express movie Reminders: have a HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!  

Highlights: We went to makerspace and we tried to make an elf trap!  We got to do another art hub with the other grade 2 classes. We made a snowman, a unicorn, a cat, a dinosaur, and a penguin.  In math centres Ms. Wolsey's class played a math game in Ms. Maguire's class and Ms. Maguire's class played a math game in Ms. Parkhurst's class.  In writing we wrote about what we would do if we were an elf  In music, Ms. Maguire's class watched three fun music videos  Reminders: Our spirit day tomorrow is wear yellow for our Grade 2 team colour! 

Highlights: In gym we played Santa's workshop In writing we wrote about how we would build a elf trap  In math centres Ms Wolsey's class went to Ms Parkhurst's class and Ms Maguire's class went to Ms Stewart's class. Ask me what math game I played! After we wrote about our elf traps we built our own elf trap! We did an elf addition and subtraction math sheet  Reminders: Tomorrow is Pyjama Day! You are allowed to wear slippers, but please do not bring any stuffies :)

Ask me what game I played! Miss Wolsey's class has music. Ask me what we did!  In writing we wrote about Inukshuks. Ask me one fact that I learned!  In math we graphed the birthdays in our classes.  Peppermint left us a note that said "Write a letter to your teacher."  Reminders: Tomorrow is "Dress to Impress Day" (Dress fancy if you want)
